Hello! My name is Shaoying Ma. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. I teach Principles of Microeconomics as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College in Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. My fields of research interest are Labor Economics, Health Economics and Applied Econometrics. I currently study the local paid sick time mandates in the U.S. and their impacts on private sector employees.
Besides research and teaching, I enjoy long distance running, and I am a 2016 NYC marathon finisher.
